For the first time in nearly 10 years, Burger King has updated one of its most famous menu items: the Whopper.
President Tom Curtis of Burger King United States and Canada has been inviting Guests to call or text him with any recommendations or suggestions for menu items. With the help of customer feedback, the Whopper has changed its game, now offering a higher-quality burger.
“Over the past several years, we’ve focused on strengthening our operations and modernizing out restaurants to build a more consistent foundation across the system,” said Curtis. “With that work well underway, we’re now in a position to thoughtfully elevate our core menu. The Whopper is an icon, so we didn’t set out to reinvent it. Instead, we elevated it based on direct Guest feedback.”

While the ingredients are still the same with a 1/4 pound of a flame-grilled beef patty, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles, the mayo and bun of the burger have improved. Plus, the Whopper is now served in a spacious box that prevents it from being squished in its previous wrapping.
People online are saying that although the burger is mostly the same, they can taste a difference in the mayo and bun.

As most Burger King Whoppers come, the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper also comes as the Impossible version with a burger patty made from plants. This version is $9.49 and 960 calories.
Jalapeño Cheddar Bites
Not everyone is a french fry person, and Burger King is the last to judge you. Jalapeño cheddar bites come as a four or eight-piece, filled with gooey cheddar cheese and spicy, chopped up jalapeño bits. Some may mistake them for tater tots because of their shape and size, but they’re simply breaded and deep-fried— no potatoes included. The four-piece is priced at $2.59 with 230 calories, and the eight-piece is $4.99 with 460 calories. These bite-sized snacks pair best with ranch dressing.
Cheesy Bacon Tots
Similar to the jalapeño cheddar bites, these tots pack melted cheese, diced bacon, and fluffy potatoes inside. Burger King is serving them in a treasure chest carton, offering a four-piece for $2.59 and 130 calories or an eight-piece for $4.99 and 260 calories.

For Your Sweet Tooth
What’s a meal without dessert? Of course, Burger King could not have forgotten about their sweet treat customers. Whether you’re craving a frozen dessert to have by itself or paired with your entree, the new frozen strawberries & cream drink is an icy, strawberry refreshment topped with vanilla cold foam and strawberry shortcake crunch. The drink comes in sizes from small to large, with the highest price being $3.59 for the large.
Not a big fan of strawberries? Burger King has re-released their cinnamon apple pie. Though the name is pretty self explanatory, this warm, gooey treat is a friend apple pie with a crispy outside crust filled with a warm, cinnamon apple filling. Their twist on apple pie comes as a single-serving at $2.29 with 270 calories.

Hurry while you can to snag a limited time item. These meals and treats are available until early April, though select locations may differ.
