“Bibia Be Ye Ye” was inspired by his travels to Ghana, Africa, where Sheeran studied the local culture, music, and lifestyle. He collaborated with Fuse ODG to create a blend of modern pop and Ghanaian instruments.
“Azizam” was inspired by Sheeran’s own Persian heritage. He was persuaded by a friend to experiment with the culture’s music. Co-producer Ilya Salmanzadeh assisted with crafting the rhythms and melodies, introducing Sheeran to Persian scales and percussion.
