For some, traveling can be very nerve racking for some people. I recently took my first solo trip and was convinced I would end up on the wrong plane. The airport can especially be intimidating. Everything is fast paced and overwhelming. What else is stressful? Packing.
Packing Cubes

Packing cubes have been around for years and rightfully so. They make sure your clothes don’t mix and keep your stuff organized. You can find them at Kohl’s, Target, Walmart, and Amazon! These are helpful because they make you realize how much you are taking. A bulky carry on item that may not fit under the seat is the last thing you want deal with!
Grocery Bags

Yes, the ones you have stored somewhere in your house. You can use a grocery bag for anything! Grocery bags are great because they are an item that is most likely going to waste in your home right now. Below are some alternative uses for your bags!
These include:
- Storing dirty laundry
- A shower cap for the shower
- A place to store and carry your souvenirs
- Separating shoes
- A DIY packing cube
Never Unpack

If you don’t mind a messy room, this next hack might not be for you. Keeping your stuff in your luggage or in a specific area helps with losing items. Before you leave the room for your day of fun, make sure everything is around or back in your bag. It also keeps your stuff out of the way for the cleaner. It’s a win-win for everyone!
This also works by keeping a set of travel supplies in your luggage. You know that travel toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, and more you specifically bought for the trip? Leave them in the luggage for your next trip. That way you can avoid the last minute shopping trip to Dollar General the night before.

An emergency outfit can come handy in one of two ways. The first is if your flight or checked bag is delayed and you have to stay somewhere over night. That way you can freshen up in between your delays.
The other reason is in case you run into trouble during your trip and have to go back to your hotel. There could be unexpected weather or you get more dirty than you anticipated. Having a spare set of clothes gives you the chance to not repeat an outfit.
So, N Crowd, keep these tips saved in your mind for you next vacation so you can stay ready so you don’t have to get ready!
