One of my favorite dishes at Freshii is their Buddha Satay Bowl. The tasty lunch pick-me-up is just what I need when I do not want to waste calories on Chipotle. The problem is the price tag! My solution… create a DIY recipe.

    If you’re anything like me, then it’s common for you to try to create your own cost effective rendition of a recipe from your favorite restaurant so you can enjoy it at home.

    Yep! That is my life. Lol. I know, I’m special. 

    The other day I splurged and ordered the Buddha Satay Bowl from Freshii and had an epiphany.

    “I have an extremely easy and cheap recipe for this dish” 

    I headed over to Mariano’s to pick up the ingredients and started cooking. Here’s what you’ll need:

    1-3 Cooked Chicken Breasts (depending on serving size)
    Broccoli Slaw
    Thai Rice Noodles
    Broccoli Florets
    Tsangs Bangkok Peanut Sauce
    Green Onions
    Wonton Strips
