In recent years, plastic surgery has become more accessible with chain businesses offering “mini procedures” that are popping up all around the United States. Even in my hometown of Davenport, Iowa, a chain called Chapter Aesthetic Studio opened it’s doors in 2025. The studio, which offers multiple injections, laser treatments, and body sculpting, embraces a philosophy of “take back your story” to empower customers in their decision to pursue cosmetic work.

Consequently, there is a more accepting shift in how society views plastic surgery. Celebrities are now coming forward with cosmetic procedures they have done to stay relevant. Influencers such as Alix Earle and Kylie Jenner have even gone as far as to share the details. Their breast augmentations are no secret for those looking to achieve a similar effect.

Plastic Surgery Confessions
One of the first celebrities to be so candid about how she maintains her maneater gorgeousness is Megan Fox! Back in 2024, she spoke openly about what cosmetic procedures she has (and has not) had done on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. Fox says “I had my boobs done when I was 21 or 22. I had them redone when I was done breastfeeding my kids…Then I had to have them redone recently because the first set I didn’t have enough body fat to disguise (the implant).” The celebrity also admits to having her nose done in her early 20s along with continuous Botox and filler.

Similarly, Jenner speaks on her body procedures she had done at a young age. Right before having her first child, Stormi Webster, she underwent a breast augmentation done by Dr. Garth Fisher. It is hard to forget the iconic comment she made under a TikTok. Jenner revealed the specifics of her surgery for fans looking to mimic the aesthetic. In hindsight, she also admits in recent interviews that she regrets having “the girls” done so early. She says on their show The Kardashians, “I would be heartbroken if she (Stormi) wanted to get her body done at 19.”
What do you think about this confession, N Crowd?

There seems to be a fine line to tread when it comes to celebrities remaining authentic in the public eye. It could be possible that because of their public profiles these celebs often pursue plastic surgery. I can agree to a much needed confidence boost! However, the rise of cosmetic surgeries becoming necessary to succeed as public figure has become overwhelming. Many not in the public eye are starting to feel the pressure to meet a higher standard of beauty.
Is this newfound accessibility a confidence booster or conforming, N Crowd?
We can admit, it may be both.
