Make way for Catherine Zeta Jones, who is taking the world by storm as Morticia Adams in Netflix‘s hit show Wednesday! The Welsh actress stunned at the premiere for season two of the ghoulish Netflix series, reminding us all who Mother Morticia is. In celebration of her breathtaking premiere look, here is Zeta Jones’s style evolution, including some of her Addams-esque fashion!
Wednesday Netflix Premiere
Paying homage to the 55-year-old actress has to begin with her head-turning Wednesday premiere look. Zeta Jones graced the premiere carpet in a fully black Stephane Rolland gown. Completed by a plunging neckline, wispy fabric, and a train that was simply to-die-for, this look screamed Morticia Adams, giving us an iconic ghoulish look for our favorite ghoulish mother.
The Mask of Zorro
Like many fans of The Mask of Zorro, Elena de la Vega was my absolute favorite style icon growing up. Designed by Graciela Mazón, Zeta Jones showed off her sword-fighting in an ivory, off-the-shoulder dress. The look brought Elena’s character to life with its Spanish-influenced details, and of course, her trusty sword.
Morticia Addams
A bit of grave-digging never hurt anyone, especially not Morticia Addams. In the Wednesday Netflix series, Zeta Jones wore a stunning collection of form-fitting, long-sleeved black gowns, designed by Colleen Atwood. Complimented by feathery sleeves, not a single soul can deny that this outfit wasn’t perfect for grave-sight activities.

Pink, pink, pink is what the 1999 Cannes Film Festival was all about! Clad in a baby pink Thierry Mugler dress, Zeta Jones stole the show with her updo and glimmering makeup to match.
The Mask of Zorro Makes a Return
Mazón does it again! Another Elena de la Vega outfit graces our style evolution list, and for good reason! This baby yellow and blue time-piece gown drew a beautiful parallel between Zeta Jones’ role as Elena and the historical set design of The Mask of Zorro. Can we also get some applause for the lacy gloves and parasol?
2023 BAFTA Film Awards
The BAFTA Film Awards were all about glitz and glamour, something the Welsh actress clearly knew a lot about! Zeta Jones made her appearance on the BAFTA carpet in a yellow and purple Tony Ward gown. Complimented by a trail of lush tulle, the Ward design went perfectly with the actress’ bronzed makeup and long waves.
