Sephora’s Response
While Sephora does not currently offer a “21 Days of Beauty,” a handful of beauty-lovers are considering the company’s flash sales to be a response to the hype around ULTA’s beauty event. During previous years, Sephora’s advertisements for beauty deals have closely followed ULTA’s promotions. Controversy across social media has continued to spark in response to the sales. A few users have expressed their preference for ULTA’s loyalty rewards system, calling out Sephora for “tailgating” their competitor. Others disregard the similarities in sales promotions, remaining die-hard beauty-lovers regardless of rumored store rivalry.
Despite the talk about the two beauty companies, all of us beauty-lovers are left with the same sentiment: get out there and get shopping!
