When Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia O’Neill) disappear in the woods and return with no memory of what happened to them, Victor is forced to confront the nadir of evil. He seeks out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn).

Burstyn reprises her iconic role as MacNeil, an actress who has been forever altered by what happened to her daughter Regan five decades earlier. The film also stars Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, and Norbert Leo Butz.

The original Exorcist film, based on the best-selling book by William Peter Blatty, was released in 1973 and changed the culture forever. It obliterated box office records and earned 10 Academy Award® nominations, becoming the first horror film ever nominated for Best Picture.

Haunted Mansion

Look alive, foolish mortals! The 2023 film Haunted Mansion is a perfect family-friendly film to watch this Halloween. It is a reboot of the 2003 film of the same name, and it is based on the popular Disney theme park ride. The film stars LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, and Dan Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost.

The film follows a group of people who are hired to exorcise a haunted mansion. The group includes a paranormal investigator, a psychic, and a priest. Although, this comically creepy adventure was released during the summer, doesn’t mean the film shouldn’t be added to your Halloween watch list.

SAW X

John Kramer, the infamous Jigsaw Killer, is back in the most chilling installment of the Saw franchise yet. Set between the events of Saw I and II, Saw X follows Kramer as he travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer. However, he soon discovers that the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable.

Armed with a newfound purpose, Kramer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through a series of ingenious and terrifying traps.

Tobin Bell reprises his iconic role as Jigsaw Killer, and the film also stars Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, and Shawnee Smith.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly horror film to watch this Halloween, then The Curse of Bridge Hollow is a great pick! This 2021 Netflix film stars Marlon Wayans and Priah Ferguson as a father-daughter duo who team up to defeat a mischievous spirit that has cursed their town.

The film is full of laughs and scares, making it perfect for viewers of all ages. Wayans and Ferguson have great chemistry together, and their comedic timing is on point. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mom (Olivia Holt) to take down the killer once and for all before she’s stuck in the
past forever.


Totally Killer is a heart-pounding horror-comedy that will keep audiences guessing with unexpected twists, genuine laughs and killer performances. The A-list ensemble, anchored by Shipka, Bowen, Mawema and Holt also includes: Charlie Gillespie, Lochlyn Munro, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Liana Liberato, Stephi Chin-Salvo, Anna Diaz, Ella Choi, Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar, Nathaniel Appiah, Jonathan Potts and Randall Park.
