Anyone that knows me personally, knows about my love for smoothies. In the summer I drink smoothies in place of meals. However, a smoothie high in sugar can alter your waist line. Below are a few recipes that I found to be delicious and healthy. Enjoy!
Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

- ⅚ cup Bolthouse Farms® Original Plant Protein Milk
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Frozen banana
- ¼ tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Frozen strawberries
- 1 tsp Honey
Blend together avocado, ½ frozen banana, 1/3 cup Plant Protein Milk, 1 teaspoon of honey and ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract in blender
Pour mixture into glass
Clean out blender
Blend together 1 cup frozen strawberries, ½ frozen banana, and ½ cup Plant Protein Milk
Pour strawberry layer on top the avocado layer
Four Ingredient Vegan Smoothie Bowl
A simple Four Ingredient Smoothie Bowl recipe that’s vegan thanks to our rich and creamy Plant Protein Milk by The Toasted Pine Nut
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1 cup Frozen Blackberries
- ¾ cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth
Blend 1 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup frozen blackberries, and ¾ cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth.
Pour into a bowl or cup and top with frozen berries and chia seeds (optional). Enjoy!!
Strawberry Beet Smoothie Bowl

- 1 cup Strawberries
- ½ cup Cooked Beets
- 1 Frozen Bananas
- ½ cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth
Blend strawberries, cooked beets, frozen banana, and Bolthouse Farms Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and garnish with desired toppings like strawberries, dragon fruit, coconut, and chia seeds.
