In honor of Black History Month, the Trap Music Museum celebrated Black Businesses and Ownership with the “Black Currency” art exhibition. Notable figures like rapper T.I. attended the grand opening on February 9, 2023.
The exhibition displays eight thriving black-owned local businesses in Atlanta, paying homage to the city’s legacy and inspiring future generations of black entrepreneurs. The exhibition runs from February 9th to February 28th, 2023. The Trap Music Museum’s mission is to celebrate black visual artists worldwide.
The exhibition includes artists like Doran Starks, Travon Lee, Tiffany Davis, Geryn Harris, Jillian Williams, Sean Marques, Rovelle Williams, and Dane Brown. Slim + Husky’s expressed their gratitude for being recognized in the exhibition, showcasing the importance of entrepreneurship and ownership within black culture.
