According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fraser and Weisz are both supposedly returning for the confirmed The Mummy 4. While there isn’t much known about our favorite brother, Johnathan, or the Medjai chieftain—who both have us swooning, don’t even deny it—fans are hoping that Rick and Evie will be accompanied by their friends and family. The original cast quite literally became iconic following the release of the first movie. From the babbling British brother to the revived evil priest, it’s safe to say that we’re rooting for a full cast return.

Although there’s talk about a cast reunion for The Mummy 4, there unfortunately has been no confirmation of the new installment’s plot or premiere date. Despite this, it may be safe to say that the fourth movie will follow the storyline of the original. The Mummy, released in 1999, brought suspense, horror, and action as audiences witnessed treasure-hunter Rick O’Connell and librarian Evelyn Carnahan explore the infamous “City of the Dead.” Treasure-hunting and epic desert battles aren’t the only things our dynamic duo faced. Yes, you’re right if you’re guessing Ancient Egyptian undead. Perhaps Imhotep will also return and exhibit his terrifying mummy revenge again.
