Many of us remember her as Jessie from the Disney Channel show of the same name; now Debby Ryan is stepping into the role of mom. Ryan and her husband, Twenty One Pilots drummer Joshua Dun, have added a new member to their family. It was just this past weekend that they welcomed a baby girl via home birth. Ryan made an Instagram post to talk about the special way their daughter was born. She posted a few intimate photos from the day. In the background, a Christmas tree glowed. Talk about being cozy and festive!
The couple had been together for quite a while before their daughter arrived. They started dating in 2013 and got married in 2019, after Dun proposed to Ryan in a treehouse in New Zealand. In September, they announced the pregnancy together on Instagram, showing off Ryan’s baby bump with the caption “Dun&Dun+one.”
In her birth announcement, Ryan said little Felix Winter was born under Christmas lights, with snow outside their window — a scene that perfectly fits her middle name.
Ryan shared, “Her hair is like silk, and her breath smells like vanilla ice cream.” She gave a shoutout to her birth team and her “amazing teammate” Dun, joking that she couldn’t imagine anything better than being “trapped under the immovable eight pounds.”
Dun posted too, writing, “Felix arrived right into my hands,” with a bright full moon and snow outside. Dun couldn’t hide his excitement, even though he’d been sure they were having a boy at first.
