Coco Rocha poses on the red carpet at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Rocha wears an all-gold look by YANINA Couture

May 14 marked the beginning of the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival, the prestigious gathering that brings together actors and directors from around the world to screen new releases and celebrate the highest achievements in international film. As important as the festival is to the world of cinema, it’s of equal interest to the fashion-obsessed; stars are always dressed to impress as they attend each of the festival’s events. Now that the festival has drawn to a close, here are our favorite red carpet looks from the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

Mitchell Akat Maruko Raan in Harvey Cenit

Model Mitchell Akat Maruko Raan wore one of the most memorable looks from this year’s festival. Designed by Harvey Cenit, the custom gown featured a gold bodice sculpted into the image of Medusa. The bodice sat in stark contrast to the black velvet gown and cape that finished off the ensemble.

Coco Rocha in YANINA Couture

Canadian model Coco Rocha made waves with her campy, elaborate looks at this year’s festival. Wearing an all-gold ensemble with a matching feather headpiece, Rocha’s custom look by YANINA Couture quickly became one of the most talked about from the festival’s amfAR Gala carpet.

Bella Hadid in Versace

A Cannes veteran, Bella Hadid channeled old Hollywood glamor in an archival Versace dress for the festival’s red carpet. The form-fitting gown was embellished with sequins through the skirt, leading to a sheer bodice that perfectly accentuated the model’s waist. She topped the look off with a classic up-do and Chopard diamonds.

Kelly Rowland in Jean-Louis Sabaji

Kelly Rowland was a vision in white with her asymmetrical Jean-Louis Sabaji gown for the second day of the film festival. With a smokey makeup look and slicked-back blonde hair, Rowland’s look was both eye-catching and timeless and made her a standout at the Le Comte De Monte-Cristo premiere.

Heidi and Leni Klum in LEVER COUTURE and Raisa Vanessa

The mother-daughter duo turned heads with their appearance on the carpet ahead of the amfAR Gala. Heidi wore a peach tulle creation by Lever Couture, while her daughter Leni opted for a sheer, black gown by Raisa Vanessa. The pair even gave fans a glimpse into their getting-ready process with a TikTok posted to Leni’s account.

Elsa Hosk in Nina Ricci

After breaking the Internet in 2023 with her optical illusion dress on the Cannes red carpet, fans were anxiously awaiting Elsa Hosk’s looks for this year’s festival – and she did not disappoint. Among her several stunning looks from the festival was a white Nina Ricci gown embellished with black feathers. The Victoria’s Secret model looked reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn as she finished off the look with black opera gloves, Tiffany jewelry, and a simple up-do.
