The Women’s Canadian Rugby Team had a rough start to the Olympics, losing 33-7 and then 19-12 to New Zealand, but Team Canada pulled off three amazing wins in between!

Australian women’s soccer player Mackenzie Arnold and teammate Alanna Kennedy shared this post about their Opening Ceremony outfits. The hilarious TikTok has gained the attention of over 42.5 million viewers and over 11 thousand (entertaining) comments. One viewer wrote, “When you’ve got swimming at 3 and tennis at 5.” Another commented, “It’s giving like family photos and your mums picked everyone’s matching outfits.” The Australian Women’s soccer team has competed in three games so far, losing 3-0 to Germany, bouncing back and winning 6-5 against Zambia, and then finishing with a tough 2-1 loss against Team USA on July 29.

Maher has gone viral several times before, for everything from empowering women and body positivity to sharing funny shenanigans in the Olympic Village. The women’s team won in the Bronze Match against Australia but unfortunately lost in the Semi-Finals to New Zealand.
The Olympics are such a fun time for the viewers, commentators, and especially the athletes.
