Last Friday, the stars of NBC’s Grand Crew, Nicole Byer and Echo Kellum, visited Chicago to celebrate the show’s second season premiere. Grand Crew is a hangout comedy that revolves around a group of friends who regularly meet up at their favorite wine bar to share laughs, struggles, and life lessons. The show stars Byer as Nicky, a vivacious and fearless member of the crew, and Kellum as Noah, the charming and earnest friend who always has his buddies’ backs.

But the chemistry between the cast members on screen isn’t just acting. The group has developed a strong bond off-screen as well, which adds to the show’s authenticity and believability. The series has also been celebrated for exploring the weighty themes that Black men face in America, while balancing that with joy, laughter, and overall friendship.
