Sabrina Carpenter has had the craziest past year—from touring with Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour, releasing the MTV-Awarded Song of the Year “Espresso,” to now starting a tour of her own for her newest album, Short n’ Sweet. To kick off her tour, Sabrina Carpenter brought her album to life in New York City with a pop-up café!

Hosted at Partners Coffee in the West Village from September 27-29, this pop-up was like no other. With its baby blue color scheme and posters with raunchy sayings, the event was Sab through and through. The extensive drink menu coordinated perfectly with her newest album, including the Dumb and Poetic Latte, inspired by her song, “Dumb and Poetic.” This drink was made with black sesame syrup, espresso, and cocoa powder, and was as rich and deep as poetry. Given that this was the only hot drink on the menu, this was a fan-favorite for sure.

Why did the fans need hot drinks, you may ask? This particular weekend in NYC was a cold and wet one, and the line went on for at least four blocks outside. If you didn’t arrive at the crack of dawn, you were all but confirmed for a 3-hour-long wait in the rain. Despite the long wait, the treacherous weather, and even the fact that some people needed to get home so they could get ready for her concert at MSG on Sept. 29, the fans still stuck it out — and honestly, the experience was worth the wait.

Upon reaching the front of the line, you saw the whole outdoor café set up, equipped with tables, mirrors, and pictures of Miss Sabrina—perfect for a photo opp. When you entered the café itself, there were two lines—one to order off the merch menu and one to order off the café menu. There were even more photo ops inside; there was a beautiful red couch shaped like lips, posters all along the walls, and a baby blue record player blasting Short n’ Sweet. And don’t fret, we all left with merch after that 3-hour wait—everyone received a complimentary Short n’ Sweet Café poster on the way out.
