The HollyRod Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources and support to families affected by Parkinson’s disease and autism. The foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
To mark the occasion, the foundation is hosting a star-studded gala on July 15, 2023, in Los Angeles.
The gala will be co-hosted by Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete, the founders of HollyRod. The event will feature a performance by D-Nice, as well as fashions by Sergio Hudson.
They will also honor several individuals for their work in the Parkinson’s and autism communities.
Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe will be honored with the Muhammad Ali Trailblazer Award.
“Naomi Campbell is a true humanitarian and Jacqueline Avant was a dear friend and mentor to us. Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe are both tireless advocates for Parkinson’s and autism research. We are so grateful for their support.”, stated Holly Robinson Peete.
The HollyRod Foundation was founded in 1997 by Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete after their son, RJ, was diagnosed with autism. The foundation provides a variety of services to families affected by Parkinson’s and autism, including financial assistance, educational resources, and emotional support.
“We are so proud of what we have accomplished in the past 25 years,” said Rodney Peete. “But we know there is still so much more work to be done. We are committed to continuing to provide support to families affected by Parkinson’s and autism, and we hope that this gala will help us raise awareness and funds for our important work.”
