Tyler Christopher’s Legacy
In 1996, landed his breakout role as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital. He quickly became a fan favorite, and his portrayal of Nikolas was both popular and critically acclaimed.
Christopher won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2016 and was nominated again in 2019. He also won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer in 1997.
Christopher left General Hospital in 2011, but he returned to the show in 2013. He left again in 2016, but it wasn’t until 2005 that his departure became permanent.
