I did it ya’ll!!! After months and months trying to figure out how to recreate the delicious Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, I finally found an even more delicious money saving dupe for the real thing. Listen, let’s be real Starbucks is a nice place to visit every once in a while but it’s not nice on my bank account. Those fancy coffee drinks can really put a dent in your wallet if you frequent there.
In my case, (brace yourself) I really do not like coffee. Yes, I said it! It just doesn’t do it for me. I’m more of a tea enthusiast. Some time ago, after jokingly demanding to the barista “what do you have without coffee ?”, I did discover that Starbucks made a fancy drink without it. That’s the day that I met and fell in love with Mr. Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. He was so sweet, delicious and his coldness tickled my taste buds ever-so-lovingly on a hot summer day. Butttt…… I’m cheap and I have this weird habit of always feeling like I can make the same thing better at home.
I was on a mission to make my own satisfying rendition. The only thing that was missing to make it complete was the powdery substance that they included in the Frappe, to get it to be creamy. Welp, look no further, I’ve found the golden ticket (I hope you got that Willie Wonka reference)!
After mixing and mastering, like I’m a resident DJ, I’m pretty proud of what I came up with. I think the below recipe is a game-changer, just let everyone know that you saw it here first. As always, if you end up making this recipe I would love to see your results! Make sure to tag me on social media. Enjoy! xoxo
