Ariana Grande is bringing Wicked to the world of makeup with her limited-edition Wicked collection, a product line within her beauty brand, R.E.M. Beauty. The set contains Wicked-themed blush, lipstick, lip oils, eyeshadows, hydrating drops, and skincare products.
Grande took to Instagram on Sept. 18 to post a carousel of the collection.
The collection includes three major sets: the Galinda set, the Elphaba set, and the Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette.
Mostly true to its name, the Galinda set color theme is almost all things pink with the Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow containing pink and lilac tones, the blush and lipstick in a fuchsia shade, and the Metallic Matte Lipstick coming in a mauve shade of–you guessed it–pink. Then there’s the real outlier of the collection’s color scheme with the Gel Pencil Liner as a cool matte blue.

In the same way, the Elphaba set comes in a greener theme with shades of olive, berry, gold, and black to match. Elpheba’s version of the Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow is a mix of green and gold. And this time around, the Gel Pencil Liner doesn’t try to stand out, coming in an olive shade with a black shine. Then there’s the blush and lipstick sets which has shades of berry with the lipstick also coming in black.

Moving on to the Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette, the set comes in what looks like the Book of Oz, but opening it up unveils 12 shadows ranging from velvet to more icy colors.

Many months in advance of the launch, Grande had been “channeling” her inner Glinda to prepare for her role in Wicked, but now, she’s taking it a step further. In an interview with Vogue, Grande not only appeared with her signature (as of 2022) beach-blonde look, but also with a touch-up of Galinda Glow Drops, Ozdust eye shadow, and Galinda-themed lipstick.
“I wanted it to really feel like part of the world [of the film],” said Grande about the makeup set in a talk with Allure. “I wanted it to be a means for the fans to feel closer to it than they ever could.”
The collection hit Ulta Beauty stores, ultabeauty.com, and rembeauty.com on Oct. 1.
