The third and final season of the dark comedy series Physical will premiere on Apple TV+ on August 2, 2023. The series stars Rose Byrne as Sheila Rubin, a housewife who transforms into a fitness entrepreneur.
The trailer for the new season shows Sheila struggling to maintain her status as a fitness guru while also dealing with the challenges of motherhood and marriage. She also faces competition from rising celebrity exercise goddess Kelly Kilmartin (Zooey Deschanel).

The trailer opens with Sheila giving a motivational speech to her Body by Sheila class. She is confident and in control, but it is clear that she is under a lot of pressure. She is juggling her demanding career with her responsibilities as a mother and wife. She is also dealing with the emotional fallout of her husband’s infidelity.

In the midst of all this, Sheila faces a new challenge: the arrival of Kelly Kilmartin. Kelly is a young, charismatic fitness guru who quickly becomes a threat to Sheila’s business. Kelly is everything that Sheila is not: she is beautiful, confident, and successful. She is also a master manipulator who knows how to get under Sheila’s skin.
The trailer ends with Sheila and Kelly facing off in a heated confrontation. It is clear that these two women are not going to back down without a fight.
The third season of Physical looks to be just as dark and funny as the previous two seasons. Byrne is once again excellent as Sheila, and Deschanel is a welcome addition to the cast. The trailer has us excited to see what happens next for Sheila and Body by Sheila.
