Taylor Swift has officially surpassed popstar Rihanna’s net worth of $1.4 Billion. According to Forbes, Swift’s 125-show Eras Tour has largely contributed to the singer’s new-found status as the richest woman in music. The tour, concluding in December 2024, has been reported as the largest-grossing tour in history across all music genres, racking in $2 billion or $16 million per show.
The American Sweetheart’s net worth has reached a total of $1.6 billion.

Swift’s tours and royalties, which have amassed her a whopping $600 million, aren’t the only sweet slices of this billionaire’s pie. Forbes reports that the “Cruel Summer” serenader has other sources of income including her music catalog being valued at $600 million and about $125 million in real estate from her ownership of multiple homes across the United States.
Alongside the tour, Swift’s Eras Tour film was also wildly successful, raking in over $261 million after its box office premiere in late 2023.
For three years, the mega popstar has been in the process of re-recording six of her 11 studio albums (Taylor Swift, Fearless, Red, Speak Now, 1989, and Reputation) to retain masters, credits, and royalties for her musical catalog. The arduous road to creating “Taylor’s Versions” of her already popularized musical library has been more than rewarding, seeing as though each version skyrockets in streaming numbers.

Rihanna, an equally victorious pop icon, has accumulated a substantial amount of wealth from both her Fenty Beauty Cosmetics and Savage x Fenty lingerie line. The Good Girl Gone Bad singer launched Fenty Beauty in 2017, making $72 million in earned media revenue within its first month in business according to People. The now mother of two hasn’t released an album in almost 10 years, with ANTI being her last album since 2016.
