Disney+ is getting a lot of new Marvel Universe content this year, according to the latest “Look Ahead” video released by Marvel Studios.
The video teased seven new Marvel series to be released this year and Deadpool and Wolverine‘s (2024) addition to Disney+ on Nov. 12. We’ll break down the coming attractions for you and what you should expect from the Marvel Universe this upcoming year.
Disclaimer: Before you read this list, be aware that you may encounter spoilers here if you have not caught up with the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and series. As of now, this includes Agatha All Along.
Season 3 of What If…?

Season 2 left off on, “What If…The Watcher Broke His Oath?,” and we can only imagine the Watcher has more to tell us about the multiverse in this season. The third and final season will premiere one episode daily in December— you can look forward to watching over your holiday vacation. The “Look Ahead” video teases characters like Cowboy Shang-Chi.
Here’s a sneak peek starring Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier, seemingly the Red Guardian from Black Widow (2021), and possibly Laurence Fishburne’s Bill Foster.
Season 3 of What If…? premieres Dec. 22.

As the Marvel Universe continues to embrace its animation arm, this new animated Spider-Man series will present another Spider-Man origin story, following the four separate movie series (Tobey Maguire’s take, Andrew Garfield’s take, Tom Holland’s take, and the Miles Morales animated movie series).
From snippets shown so far, this Spider-Man seems to embrace his canon quirkiness and general teenage boy personality traits. In a clip shown at Disney’s D23, this series will be in an alternate universe and will include Doctor Strange in Peter Parker’s origin story.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is coming to Disney+ on 29 Jan. 2025.
Daredevil: Born Again

Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, was originally introduced to the MCU during Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Murdock’s superhero personality, Daredevil, was reintroduced in the She-Hulk: Attorney At Law series. However, before his MCU debut, Daredevil had a 2015-2018 series of the same name. It was created with ABC and streamed on Netflix before being acquired by Disney+. The series also introduced Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), known as The Kingpin, who entered the Marvel Universe via Hawkeye and Echo.
From the clips released, we see encounters between Fisk and Murdock. The series will most likely pick up where both Daredevil and Echo left off. Murdock, lawyer by day, has already counseled Peter Parker/Spider-Man — when his identity was revealed to the world — and it seems that Murdock’s counsel is called on by other, younger heroes. In one clip we see Yusuf Khan questioning Murdock. Khan is the father of Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel. Now might be a good time to rewatch Daredevil’s first series to reacquaint yourself with his story.
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere 4 March 2025.

Premieres June 24 on Disney+ pic.twitter.com/10SUM8aj39
Riri Williams, played by Dominique Thorne, made her Marvel Universe debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). The series will follow the genius machinist whom becomes Ironheart, who may have also created the most advanced super suit since Tony Stark… and she’s much younger. The series seems to pick up where sequel, Wakanda Forever, left off and will also star Anthony Ramos as “The Hood.”
Ironheart will premiere 24 June 2025.

Possibly also picking up where Wakanda Forever left off, and perhaps in conjunction with Ironheart, the animated series is said to be about “Wakandan warriors who, throughout history, have traveled the world to retrieve dangerous vibranium artifacts.”
Eyes of Wakanda will premiere 6 Aug. 2025. We’ll learn more as we get closer.

Many well-known Marvel characters will most likely appear in the show, but according to Wikipedia, Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan will be a central character in the series.

Wonder Man

Simon Williams, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, is first introduced in an audition and a movie set. What we know about Wonder Man will most likely come from the comics, but otherwise, we can’t predict much. However, for the interesting and exciting piece: beyond the introduction of Wonder Man, is the return of Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery. Slattery is an actor posing as the Mandarin of the Ten Rings when we first meet him in Iron Man 3 (2013). Some MCU material has shown Slattery in prison, including an appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). It seems that he is a director in Wonder Man, forming a relationship with Williams.
Wonder Man premieres in Dec. 2025. The official airdate and more premise will be announced closer to next December.
