You’ll want to make note of these 10 travel destinations that will have you daydreaming about warmer days and have you booking your travel plans just in time for patio season. Not to mention, springtime fashion is opportune for a picturesque moment exploring new places in overalls, bandanas, pastels, or dresses featuring florals.

1. New York City
New York City is gorgeous in the spring! Without the frigid cold of winter or the heatwaves of their recent summers, spring is the perfect time to stroll through Central Park with your coffee and explore the markets NYC has to offer. The fountains will be back on around the city and it will be lighter in the evenings to do and see more on your trip! Plus, it won’t be icy cold standing in line for Broadway tickets or trying to wake up early to wave good morning to America on Good Morning America or the Today show.
@pretzelsinparadise It’s officially spring 🌸 (though it doesn’t feel like it yet 😅). Here are our top 5 things to do in NYC this season! #thingstodo #ny #nyc #newyork #iloveny #spring #cherryblossoms #queens #longislandcity #rooseveltisland #free #centralpark #picnic #wavehill #nycthingstodo

2. Washington D.C.
Cherry blossom season is in bloom in D.C. from the end of March until mid-April. It’s the most beautiful time of year to visit D.C. The blooms will embellish your tour of the city and national monuments. As a lot of Washington D.C. can be toured on foot, or bus tours with certain monuments to walk to see, spring is the perfect time to go for temperate weather.

3. Seattle
Bring your raincoat or a waterproof windbreaker! Seattle is so lovely in the spring. You can explore a lot of Seattle via metro or ferries, and the weather is perfect to be out on the Sound or to spend the day at Pike Place Market. As several businesses and restaurants do not have air conditioning in Seattle, spring is perfect to avoid the occasional summer heat waves. Make sure to check out the Space Needle and the Chihuly Museum in close proximity to one another or the Museum of Pop Culture in the same part of town! Just buy your tickets ahead of time to avoid an additional line and that will give you more time to check out some of the local parks in bloom, followed by Seattle’s delicious seafood.

4. San Francisco
Go live your Princess Diaries or Full House dreams by exploring this fun and artsy city this spring. San Francisco is known for its food, art scene, and rich culture and spring is full of festivals celebrating those very things. With sunny days and the perfect cool breeze in the evenings, spring is the perfect time to hop on a street car, see the sights, and venture to Chinatown and the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory.

5. Nashville, Tennessee
In addition to the Country Music Hall of Fame, you do not want to miss Dolly Parton‘s perfectly pink Rooftop bar, White Limozeen, and walking down Broadway Street is perfect in the spring. Additionally, you’ll want to spend some time bar hopping in Nashville to embrace the live music scene, and the spring temperatures make it perfect for exploring the bars.

6. Little Rock, Arkansas
You can do a little bit of everything in the spring in Little Rock. From exploring museums and markets to hiking and boating, it has something to offer for everyone. The Little Rock Civil Rights tour and the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center are a great opportunity to learn about Black history further expand your knowledge of the Civil Rights movement and honor the brave leaders who started it and stood for justice.
@jesshikes_ar Little Rock is the perfect spot to get away for Spring Break! If you’re looking for some ideas for things to do in our capital, here are my recommendations: ✨1. Visit Emerald Park and make sure and take a hammock. There are nicely paved walking trails throughout the park. If you go off trail, you’ll follow the bluff line to a clearing where you’ll find a multitude of pine trees to string up a hammock for some relaxation. It’s also a perfect vantage point for sunset viewing. ✨2. Check out The Hall, Little Rock’s newest entertainment venue, for shows of all genres. You’ll find their calendar of events on their website where you can purchase tickets. ✨3. Attend the Little Rock Zoo where you’ll see animals of all kinds. The train is a must-do as well and is very affordable. My personal favorite sections are the Great Ape section to see the Orangutan and the Aviary where I feel like I’m walking through a jungle. ✨4. Go for a challenge and climb the summit of Pinnacle Mountain State Park. There are two trails that will take you to the top, the West Summit Trail and the East Summit Trail. The West Summit Trail is the easiest of the two but both are challenging. ✨5. Visit Wildwood Park for the Arts to explore their trail system which includes a variety of flora and fauna for viewing. It’s the perfect time to catch some flowers blooming. Check out the gazebo as well for the perfect backdrop, and make sure and take a fishing pole for Swan Lake. Please note that it’s catch and release only. #BigOnLittleRock #visitlittlerock #littlerocktravel #arkansastravel #arkansasoutdoors #littlerockoutdoors #getoutside #littlerockfitness #ExploreLR

7. Charleston, South Carolina
Whether you’re beach-bound or want to learn about the historical plantations, Charleston in the spring is the place to be. In addition to seeing historic sites and the gorgeous pastels of the bay, Charleston has so many fun activities to offer such as boating and paddleboarding or kayaking. It also has a fun strand for nightlife, which is part of what makes it such a fun bachelorette party destination.

8. Seaside, Florida
Seaside, Florida is a prime beach destination that is much more affordable than Destin and less crowded than Panama City Beach in the springtime, yet still sitting on the same pristine waters. Seaside is known for being incredibly pedestrian-friendly, which takes the stress of driving off of your beach vacay. With the bright blue waters, you’ll feel like you’re in the Caribbean and you can’t beat the ice cream in Seaside.
@travelwithalexus 10/10 recommend visiting Seaside, FL!! #beach #vacation #seaside #florida #travel

9. Phoenix, Arizona
Spring is your last chance to visit Phoenix before it gets unbearably hot in the summer. To embrace hiking and exploring this fun city, you’ll want to book for the spring! With options for both short and long hikes just outside the city, Phoenix is the perfect spot to have your girls getaway if you’re looking for a trip that prioritizes wellness and the outdoors but also has great options for dining and sipping cocktails.

10. New Orleans, Louisiana
NOLA is a wonderful spring adventure! What better than seeing live jazz, doing an architecture or ghost tour with a cool breeze and a cool drink in your hand? Plus, Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a once in a lifetime experience. While the Mardi Gras falls on Tuesday, March 4th (Fat Tuesday), the Mardi Gras celebrations continue throughout the season with King Cake, dozens of parades, and beads to be thrown. In fact, the parades begin in January and go through mid-March, so you could book your New Orleans trip during the spring while avoiding Fat Tuesday’s increased prices.
