On June 14 in Durham, North Carolina, Isabella Strahan, Michael Strahan’s daughter, finished the final round of her chemotherapy treatment.
In October of 2023, Isabella was diagnosed with a large medulloblastoma in her cerebellum, more commonly known as a brain tumor. The 19-year-old has been undergoing treatment for the past 8 months and was able to finally ring the bell this June surrounded by all her loved ones.

Ringing the bell is a tradition where a cancer patient gets to ring a bell to recognize that they conquered a challenging chapter in their recovery. It is a way to celebrate getting through such a physically and emotionally taxing time.
Sharing Her Experience
Isabella also posted a vlog to her YouTube Channel commemorating the event. She documented the celebration that started with a confetti parade and ended with her excitedly ringing the bell three times. Both family and friends surrounded her with balloons, homemade signs, and bubbles in the 25th video in her treatment vlog series.
Michael’s Celebratory Post
Michael Strahan also took to Instagram to celebrate his daughter, calling Isabella a ‘SUPERWOMAN’:
“@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella ❤️❤️”
Congrats Isabella!
Isabella has conquered an amazing feat and deserves all the praise for her journey. She not only finished chemotherapy but also shared her story online with others, inspiring anyone who was in a similar situation. According to her vlog, she is already excited to move forward with her life. “Now I have to recover and get back to my usual state which is going to take a long time but done with treatments,” she shared with a smile on her face.
We wish Isabella and everyone out there battling cancer good luck on their journey and to keep being a fighter. You are superheroes!
