Love Island Season 8 winners Bryce and Trinity have been inseparable ever since leaving the villa, with Trinity staying in LA with Bryce.

Zach and Kayda are not boyfriend and girlfriend, but they are dating and yet still “exclusive.” After the show ended, the couple had only spent at least a week together outside the villa due to Zach having to get his visa. The couple is seeing how their relationship is outside the villa before making things official between the two.

Melanie and Sincere are also seeing how things are outside the villa, working on building trust within their relationship. Sincere also went on to apologize for his actions in the villa. He stated that while his actions may have been toxic, his relationship with Melanie is not.

Among the final four, Kenzie and Dylan and Titi and KC are still together. Kenzie and Dylan have even confessed they are very much in love with each other. However, among the eight couples that have left the villa, Caleb and Jaiden and Corbin and Parmida have split.

Things quickly turned and got messy once drama concerning Kenzie and Jaiden after the show ended was addressed. Kenzie said that Melanie got more screen time on Sol’s Instagram live, and Melanie responded by rolling her eyes. The two also spoke on their friendship in the villa not being as supportive and feeling one-sided.

Melanie and Bea also revisited their argument from earlier in the season. Bombshell Corbin had entered the villa, and Melanie had pulled him aside for a one-on-one during a group conversation in front of all the ladies. In an attempt to call out Melanie’s behavior, Melanie walked away in the midst of their argument, which Bea thought was disrespectful.

While it was Sol who claimed they would feel her wrath at the reunion, “mama had no receipts.” Instead, Sol got the islanders heated in a heavy debate while she spoke about her experience in the villa. Sol stated that it was not positive but rather an uncomfortable experience, calling Melanie an antagonist and that she got pied more than twice.

While the reunion was messy, it did address an important issue of online harassment. Many of the islanders received online hate, like Bea, who received ableist comments about her disability; KC and Titi, who received racial slurs, and death threats after the show; and even Melanie and Sincere, who received backlash and hate for their relationship inside the villa.

While Love Island USA Season 8 brought plenty of drama, we were all here for it. This season also served as a reminder that behind the relationships, arguments, and entertaining moments, they are real people.
