Kate Bush has been the only other individual female nominee for Producer of the Year. She was nominated in 1990, but lost to Dave Stewart. Others, such as Alison Goldfrapp and Heather Small, were nominated in the past but were recognized as part of a group.

Stories such as PinkPantheress’ continue to arise, inspiring other young artists to push through the difficulties and pursue their passion for music. A spotlight has been put on female artists as more female artists are recognized worldwide. PinkPantheress may have been the first female to receive the award, but she definitely won’t be the last!
