Get ready, Marvel fans! A new chapter in Vision’s story is coming in 2026. Marvel has officially released the first trailer for VisionQuest. Sadly, it was shown exclusively to those who went to New York Comic Con. But we are here to tell you what the trailer shows!

The trailer shows Paul Bettany returning as White Vision, continuing from the ending of WandaVision. Interestingly, Vision also appears as regular-looking human version. There were also human versions of Ultron, with James Spader returning to reprise his role as the Avengers: Age of Ultron titular villain. The AI programs created by Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark, J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., and E.D.I.T.H., appear next. At the end of the trailer, there was a brief glimpse of an adult Tommy. Vision and Wanda’s son who first appeared in WandaVision.

In the trailer, Bettany walks up to a white mansion, where the human versions of Tony Stark’s A.I. programs greet him. Fans will recognize J.A.R.V.I.S., Stark’s original AI program who later became Vision. Then, there is F.R.I.D.A.Y., who was the replacement for J.A.R.V.I.S., and E.D.I.T.H., who is the AI program in Stark’s sunglasses in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

VisionQuest will feature a star-studded cast consisting of:

According to Marvel’s official website, Bettany explained his perception of Vision’s character on stage. He noted, “What’s different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex. But White Vision is having real difficulty connecting to them.” He continues to explain, “So he has the memories, but he doesn’t have the emotions and the feelings, and I think that’s what the journey is…”

VisionQuest is the third part in the trilogy that began with WandaVision and was followed by Agatha All Along. With this being the final entry, it’s safe to assume that a family reunion will eventually happen at some point in the series. Agatha All Along’s ending sets up Billy’s (Joe Locke) quest to find his missing brother alongside Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha. However, thanks to Wanda’s ambiguous fate in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it seems unlikely that she will join them in a potential reunion (at least for now).

Overall, one of the most interesting elements of the trailer is the inclusion of human forms of Stark’s A.I. bots. It gives fans a glimpse into their origins while also offering an MCU throwback from their perspectives. We can’t wait for the release!
