On May 29, supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid stunned the world with a statement to the Daily Mail about their newly-found half sister. 23-year-old Aydan Nix is the daughter of the Hadid sisters’ biological father, Mohamed Hadid, and Terri Hatfield Dull.
“Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,” Bella and Gigi explained in their statement, per Harper’s Bazaar.
It wasn’t until Aydan Nix had taken a genetic test that she’d found out she was related to the Hadids. Bella and Gigi had connected with Aydan sometime in 2023, welcoming their sister with open arms.

The Hadid’s recently-found half-sister, Aydan Nix, is a young woman who was raised in Florida by “a man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19.”
Following Mohamed Hadid’s divorce from Yolanda Hadid, the American real-estate developer began a relationship with Terri Hatfield Dull. It wasn’t until after the connection ended that Terri found out she was pregnant.
Aydan is also a newly graduated student from Parsons School of Design—you can’t deny the fashion genetics there! She even rocked a keffiyeh, a traditional Palestinian scarf, to her college graduation ceremony.
Recent graduate, Aydan, is officially the fifth addition to Mohamed Hadid’s family. The 76-year-old American real estate developer has two daughters, Marielle and Alana Hadid, from his first marriage with Mary Butler, and his two other daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, from his second wife, Yolanda Hadid.

“She’s spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family,” Bella and Gigi added in their statement. “As siblings, we’ve had many open and loving conversations — with Aydan included — about how to support and protect her.”
“Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that.” They continued. “We kindly ask others to do the same and honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York.”
Bella and Gigi seem to be thrilled with Aydan’s new addition to their family, and fans are too. With the revelation of another sister joining Bella, Gigi, Alana, and Marielle, there is another Hadid fashion icon in the world, and fans are living for it!
