If Zendaya is showing up, we know she’s going to show out. On Saturday, October 19, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction took place in Cleveland, Ohio. Among the many notable looks from the evening was Zendaya’s homage to one of the night’s inductees—Cher.
Zendaya introduced the classic rock icon of the ’70s during the induction ceremony, making the look all the more meaningful. Throughout her career, Cher often dressed in custom-made Bob Mackie, who is responsible for many amazing looks, including some recent outfits for Sabrina Carpenter.
To pay homage to two Bob Mackie looks worn by Cher, Law Roach styled Zendaya in this iconic archival outfit. Zendaya’s look for the induction was archival Bob Mackie Couture, from the Fall 2001 ‘Foreign Intrigue’ collection. Complete with a white trench coat, embroidered with gold and diamond beads and stones and a nude illusion hand-beaded halter gown, this look is unforgettable — and certainly fitting to induct Cher into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
We’ve seen Zendaya method dress for far more than just this past Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction. Zendaya was not the only one dressed to honor the lovely Cher—Dua Lipa wore a rockstar look to perform “Believe” on stage with the music legend.
